Job Summary
- We’re seeking a dynamic, creative, and people-oriented Community Manager to grow, engage, and nurture our online and offline communities across our products.
- You will be the voice of the brand, fostering engagement, building trust, and turning users into passionate advocates.
Key Responsibilities of the Community Manager at Acumen Digital
- Develop and implement strategies to grow and engage the community across platforms (Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Create and manage content calendars and ensure timely, relevant, and engaging posts.
- Facilitate conversations and respond promptly to user comments, feedback, and inquiries.
- Plan and execute community events (virtual AMAs, webinars, product Q&As, etc.)Monitor community sentiment and gather user insights to inform product and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to produce assets and campaigns.
- Create weekly reports highlighting engagement trends, feedback, and areas for improvement.
- Manage and moderate community spaces to ensure a respectful, inclusive, and value-driven environment.
Requirements for the Community Manager at Acumen Digital
- 3+ years experience in a similar role, preferably in tech or product-led environments.
- Exceptional communication skills—verbal and written.
- Proven experience managing online communities and running engagement campaigns.
- Familiarity with community platforms (Discord, Slack, etc.)A creative thinker with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and comfortable working remotely and asynchronously.
- Experience in social media management, content creation and/or digital marketing.
- Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Familiarity with the Nigerian tech ecosystem or digital financial services.
