Purpose of the Role
Malaria Consortium seeks 10 IT Ad-hoc Support Assistants to support the inspection and categorization of 1,900 mobile devices for the upcoming 2025 Insecticide-Treated Net (ITN) replacement campaign in Ondo.
These devices were used in previous campaigns and need assessment and preparation for redeployment.
 Scope of Work
- Unpack and inspect mobile phones and accessories
- Verify availability and condition of batteries, chargers, and USB cables
- Check battery health and device functionality
Categorize devices as:
- Fully functional
- Needs repair
- Non-functional or obsolete
- Log findings in Microsoft Excel and support daily reporting
- Maintain clean and organized workspace
 Expected Deliverables
- Daily unpacking, sorting, and repacking of mobile phones
- Accurate labelling and categorization
- Manual logs of device status
- Daily signed timesheets
- Tidy work area throughout the exercise
 Requirements
- Minimum qualification: National Diploma in IT,  Computer Science, or related field
- Experience:Â At least 2 years in an IT support role
Skills:
- Familiarity with Android devices and troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a team
